Events

Pictured: one of many tables at a Cookie Social, which contrary to the name, actually is not all about cookies. Cookies, pies, cakes, and other delicious desserts make appearances.

You can find more events in the weekly department student newsletter, the physics non-academic careers newsletter, and the Graduate Student Council Anno (calendar version here).

Below, please find a selection of regularly occurring department or physics-related seminars and socials during normal in-person times, to give you a taste for all the physics events going on around campus!

And we do not use the word “taste” inadvertently – you can often nab a free lunch, quality coffee (as opposed to the sometimes questionable substance your peers make in the grad lounge), or at least some cookies or fruit at many of these events.
